Hansen wins Fla. municipal software deal

Under the contract, Hansen of Rancho Cordova, Calif., will deploy its four-phase CDR software, a mobile solution, and a portal through which citizens can submit service requests, apply for permits and schedule inspections. The contract is valued at $1.1 million.
Hansen's CDR software addresses four functions: license and escrow, code compliance, building and permits, and development application review.
The CDR software suite and related services will help arasota improve service to a population of 58,000. Last year the city issued more than 5,600 permits, managed more than 2,300 code enforcement cases and processed more than 6,100 occupational licenses.
Hansen offers a wide array of software products and services to help improve local government operations and citizen service. The company has 330 employees.
