Army re-ups CACI for Army resource management

CACI International Inc. will continue supporting the Army Test and Evaluation Command's resource management system under a five-year contract worth $20 million.

The resource management system, known as RM Online, is a secure, Web-based solution designed to collect and share budget, manpower and personnel information. The system allows ATEC to save money through accurate record-keeping and providing auditable budgets.

The system also enables customers to run hypothetical scenarios to assess potential budget changes. It also interfaces with other defense systems, CACI said.

Although the ATEC Mission Support Contracting Activity administers the contract, it is available to all Defense Department organizations.

CACI has supported ATEC's RM Online system in development, training and maintenance support since 2001. ATEC uses the resource management system to manage an annual budget that exceeds $500 million, CACI said.

CACI, which has about 10,100 employees and had fiscal 2005 revenue of $1.6 billion, ranks No. 13 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
