Kriegman retires from SRA

David Kriegman, chief operating officer of SRA International Inc., is retiring on Sept. 15, the company said yesterday.

Renato DiPentima, SRA's president and chief executive officer, will take over Kriegman's responsibilities until the company names a successor.

Kriegman, who has been in his current position since Jan. 1, 2005, previously was senior vice president of SRA's defense sector. He also has held other positions during his 23 years with the company, including project manager for several major system and software development projects.

In a statement released by the company, Kriegman said he would pursue other opportunities after retiring.

SRA of Fairfax, Va., supplies IT services and solutions to federal government agencies.

The company, which has about 4,900 employees and had annual revenue of nearly $1.2 billion for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2006, ranks No. 19 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the federal IT contractors.
