General Dynamics wins multiple Spawar deals
General Dynamics Information Technology won four five-year contracts from the Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center to deliver services and support for command, control, communications and intelligence initiatives.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in San Diego handles research and development, test and evaluation, and engineering and fleet support for the Navy's command, control and communication systems and ocean surveillance.General Dynamics Information Technology is a unit of General Dynamics of Falls Church, Va. The parent company, which has about 81,900 employees and had annual revenue of $21.2 billion in 2005, ranks on Washington Technology's 2006 list of federal prime contractors.

General Dynamics Information Technology won four five-year contracts totaling $75.6 million from the Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center to deliver services and support for command, control, communications and intelligence initiatives.
The new deals include:
- A $21.4 million contract to supply research, development and test evaluation in submarine, satellite, IT and strategic communications for the C4I engineering support division
- A $19.2 million contract to furnish test and evaluation, verification and validation, configuration management, software quality assurance and Web support services for C4I programs
- An $18.5 million contract to supply systems engineering, development, analysis and support services for Joint and National Command C4I programs
- A $16.5 million contract to deliver computer systems operations, hardware maintenance and systems engineering support to the center's Tactical Systems Integration and Interoperability Division.
