Marines recruit RGS Associates for base improvement work
RGS Associates Inc. won a consulting contract to deliver technical support services for the Marine Corps' base regionalization efforts.
RGS Associates Inc. won a three-year, $13.1 million consulting contract to deliver technical support services for the Marine Corps' base regionalization efforts.
Under the contract, RGS and its partner, Grant Thornton LLP of Chicago, will help review and recommend improvements to the Marine Installation Core Business Model process which ensures accurate and consistent accounting at the installation level.
The two companies will assist with determining the best governance model for each process, developing performance metrics and determining the best value method of service delivery to support the operational forces.
They will begin by supporting Marine Corps Installation Commands for the East Region at Camp Lejeune, N.C., and MCI West at Camp Pendleton, Calif. RGS also will provide support for the regionalization efforts at the National Capitol Region installation in Quantico, Va., West Pacific and Mid-Pacific Command installations in Hawaii.
RGS of Arlington, Va., is a privately owned company that specializes in helping federal agencies transform their business operations. Among its government clients are the Army and Navy, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, and the Homeland Security, Justice and State departments.
