N.H. re-ups ACS for child-support payment work
Affiliated Computer Services Inc. will continue handling child-support payment services for New Hampshire under a $3.9 million contract renewal from the state.
Affiliated Computer Services Inc. will continue handling child-support payment services for New Hampshire under a $3.9 million contract renewal from the state. The three-year contract has two option years.
Under the contract, ACS of Dallas will process support payments, handle employer electronic payments, and offer full banking services through subcontractor Citizens Bank.
In so doing, the company will process support disbursements via paper check, direct deposit or debit card. The company also will print coupons and perform outreach to encourage the use of electronic payments for child support.
The Division of Child Support Services, which is part of the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, awarded the contract.
ACS processes more than 600,000 transactions totaling $80 million annually in child support for New Hampshire. The company handles child-support payment services for 14 states.
ACS, which has more than 55,000 employees and had annual sales of $4.3 billion in fiscal 2005, ranks No. 51 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
