NCI wins $25.3 million Army IT contract

NCI Information Systems Inc. won a five-year, $25.3 million contract to provide IT services to 1115th Signal Battalion and the Army's Directors of Information Management located at Fort Lewis, Wash., the company announced today.

The award was made under the Army's Information Technology Enterprise Solutions contract. It is an extension of the work NCI of Reston, Va., is already doing for the battalion at Fort Lewis. It also expands the scope of work the company will provide in the future, NCI said in a statement. Details about what the company will do at Fort Lewis were not available.

Work under the new contract will begin on April 1.

NCI Information Systems provides IT services and solutions like enterprise systems management, information assurance, network engineering and systems development and integration to federal government agencies.

NCI Information Systems has roughly 1,400 employees and annual revenues of $171.3 million in fiscal 2004. The company ranks No. 92 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
