SI International closes Zen Technology deal

The Reston, Va., company announced its purchase of Zen Technology for $60 million in cash earlier this month.
Zen Technology of Bethesda, Md., is a private company with about 275 employees, half of whom have secret or higher clearances. Its largest clients are the Missile Defense Agency, Defense Department's Washington Headquarters Service, Federal Communications Commission, Pension Benefit Guaranty Corp. and the Federal Trade Commission.
SI International offers IT and network solutions for the federal government. It has more than 4,000 employees and had annual revenue of $397.9 million in fiscal 2005. The company ranks No. 49 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
