RSIS secures Naval Research Office tech support work

Under the contract, RSIS of McLean, Va., furnish full-system lifecycle development, business process re-engineering, Oracle commercial applications development and integration, and help desk support.
The Office of Naval Research manages science and technology research for the Navy and Marine Corps. The office sponsors research in nearly a dozen areas, including oceanography, advanced materials, electronics, surveillance and other categories. The office also provides funding for research for advanced combat systems and technologies for ships, submarines, aircraft and ground vehicles.
RSIS has worked with the Office of Naval Research for seven years. The privately held, minority-owned company, which had annual revenue of more than $360 million in fiscal 2005, ranks No. 36 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
