Input launches consulting group to assist tech companies

A Northern Virginia-based market research firm has added four industry and government stalwarts to a new consulting group to assist companies navigating the government technology marketplace.

The new consulting group at Input Inc. of Reston, Va., includes Stephen Benowitz, William "Steve" Carrier III, Kenneth Jackson and Carlos Solari.

Benowitz was formerly the associate director at the Office of Personnel Management, Carrier was vice president of business development and strategic planning at Northrop Grumman IT, Johnson was president of U.S. operations at CACI International Inc., and Solari was chief information officer of the Executive Office of the President.

Input established the consulting operation to help companies craft strategic plans, develop growth strategies, and build partnerships.

The new group "is an important addition to our analytical and consulting capabilities," said Alan Balutis, Input's president and chief executive officer, in a statement announcing the new group.
