The one-year, $2 million contract has three one-year options.
Dell of Round Rock, Texas, will offer several models from its PowerEdge line, including the PowerEdge 1850, 2850, 2800, 6800, 6850 and the Power Edge 1855 blade servers, the company said this week.
The company will help install the new systems and will provide limited warranty support and training to help enhance the usability of the equipment.
Dell, an IT supplier and partner, sells a portfolio of products and services directly to customers around the globe.
The company has about 55,200 employees and annual revenues of $41.1 billion. Dell ranks No. 8 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list, which measures federal prime contracting revenues.
