Army recruits KEI Pearson for training, logistics support services

KEI Pearson Inc. won a four-year, $4.2 million contract from the Army to provide a range of technical and administrative services to support the global war on terrorism and other Army programs.

The Arlington, Va.-based company will provide analytical, instructional and documentation services to promote effective and timely integrated logistics support functions. KEI Pearson also will complete analyses of the Army's new equipment training documentation, as well as support the Army's system approach to training.

The contract was awarded by the Army's Program Management Defense Wide Transmission Systems division, which supports the Program Executive Office-Enterprise Information Systems in the war on terrorism as well as the Army Campaign Plan, Army Logistics Transformation and the Army Enterprise Architecture.

KEI Pearson has worked with the Army's enterprise integration initiatives in logistics support, combat support and systems modernization for 14 years.

As a unit of Pearson Government Solutions Inc., KEI Pearson provides information management, education and training services to the federal government. It employs more than 250 workers and had 2004 revenue of $40 million, according to the company.

Pearson Government Solutions, also of Arlington, designs, builds, and operates technology systems for government agencies, higher education institutions and commercial human resources departments. It is No. 38 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
