Dynamic Research wins Air Force network-centric deal

Dynamic Research Corp. won a three-year, $4.5 million IT contract with the Air Force to assist with enhancing coalition warfighting capabilities with information sharing and network-centric systems, said company officials.

Under the contract, DRC of Andover, Mass., will perform program management and acquisition management support for current and emerging systems that support Air and Space operations. The systems that DRC will work on include the Air and Space Operations Center, Theater Battle Management Core Systems, and Global Command and Control System.

The contract is with the Air Force's Command and Control, Intelligence Reconnaissance and Surveillance Center. Dynamics Research officials will work with the center's Directorate of Operations.

The company will perform the work at Langley Air Force Base in Virginia.

Dynamic Research, which has 1,960 employees and annual sales of $275.7 million, ranks No. 69 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list, which measures federal prime contracting revenue.
