HUD picks McDonald Bradley for Web support

McDonald Bradley Inc. won a contract from the Housing and Urban Development Department's Office of Community Planning (OCP) for its Internet/intranet maintenance and support project.

McDonald Bradley Inc. won a contract from the Housing and Urban Development Department's Office of Community Planning (OCP) for its Internet/intranet maintenance and support project, according to officials from the Herndon, Va.-based company.

The five-year contract could potentially be worth about $2 million, said company officials.

McDonald Bradley will manage Web content, mailing lists, bulletin boards, webcasts and online promotions for activities sponsored by OCP.

The office's Internet site handles an average of more than 10,000 visits a day that account for more than 50,000 Web-page views.

The company will also streamline features on the site to attract and support individuals and groups that research and apply online for various HUD financial packages and grants.

This contract is a follow-on project for McDonald Bradley. The company has worked with the HUD office for the previous three years.
