SRA wins Defense research support job
SRA International Inc. won a contract that to provide technical assistance to DOD's Office of the Director of Defense Research and Engineering.
SRA International Inc. won a contract that could be worth up to $15.9 million to provide systems engineering and technical assistance services to the Defense Department's Office of the Director of Defense Research and Engineering, according to officials from the Fairfax, Va.-based company.
GovWorks awarded the contract under the Professional Engineering Services and Management, Organizational and Business Improvement Services schedules. The contract is worth $15.9 million over five years if all options are exercised.
Defense Research and Engineering is responsible for providing oversight of research and engineering to help solve current and future challenges for DOD.
Since 1994, SRA has supported the department with a range of IT and program support. Under this new contract, SRA services will include program management; information management including database development and administration; financial management; and liaison with governmental and non-governmental agencies.
The SRA team includes AT&T Government Solutions; Axiom Resource Management; CEXEC Inc.; Modern Technology Solutions Inc.; Schafer Corp.; Strategic Applications Inc.; and Trenchant Analytics, LLC.
SRA is ranked No. 27 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of the largest government contractors.
