SRA lands FAA financial management work
SRA will create a strategic plan for the agency's Center of Excellence, develop a framework for executing projects and implement enterprise resource planning solutions using Oracle's federal financials enterprise software.
SRA International Inc. won a six-year, $97 million contract to provide technical support for the Federal Aviation Administration's Financial Management Line of Business Center of Excellence, the company said today.
Under the contract, SRA of Fairfax, Va., will create a strategic plan for the Center of Excellence, develop a framework for executing projects and implement enterprise resource planning solutions using Oracle's federal financials enterprise software. The project will provide the technical services needed to implement financial management systems across the federal government.
SRA's team includes IBM Corp., Spectrum Solutions Group Inc. and Vigotsky & Associates LLC.
The work was awarded under the Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations contract, a multiple-award contract vehicle managed by the National Institutes of Health, which is open to all federal agencies.
The Enterprise Services Center was created by the Transportation Department in the 1980s to provide a dedicated team of professionals to support the business needs of its agencies. Its mission is to provide integrated business services and solutions to the federal government.
SRA provides IT services and solutions to federal government agencies. It employs about 4,100 workers and had revenue of $615.8 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2004. The company ranks No. 27 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of prime federal contractors.
