IAC has 450 industry members and is affiliated with the American Council for Technology, a government group. The organizations provide a forum for exchanging ideas and best practices.

Glover, vice president of systems development for Andover, Mass.-based DRC, said she will concentrate on program management, information sharing and other technology issues.

Improving the sharing of information between industry and government is a paramount goal, she added.

"This organization has already made significant accomplishments, but there is still more that we can do to strengthen information exchange about using technology best practices to improve government efficiency and effectiveness," she said.

Glover joined DRC during the acquisition of Impact Innovations Group, of which she was president. She previously had been president and chief operating officer of Advanced Technology Systems Inc. in McLean, Va.
