DataPath Inc. won a contract from the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command for satellite equipment specifically designed for sustained field operation with minimal maintenance by forward deployed warfighters.

DataPath Inc. won a $17.5 million contract from the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command in Fort Monmouth, N.J. for satellite equipment, said officials from the Duluth, Ga.-based company.

The contract is for 14 Joint Network Node Satellite Communication Trailers and 38 Satellite Communication Battalion Command Post Node Trailers, officials said.
