SRA tapped to help SEC security

SRA International Inc. won a five-year, $12.7 million task order from the General Services Administration to provide information assurance services for the Securities and Exchange Commission's information technology security program, the company said today.

SRA will work with the SEC's Office of Information Technology to develop an IT security architecture framework that comprises security plans and policies. The company will provide training for compliance with the IT security architecture and develop a compliance monitoring and enforcement program to ensure SEC security objectives and federal security laws and regulations are met. System 1 Inc. will assist SRA with this work.

Fairfax, Va.-based SRA provides IT services and solutions to federal government agencies. It employs about 4,000 workers and had revenue of $615.8 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2004. The company is No. 31 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list of prime federal contractors. The 2005 Top 100 list will be published May 9.
