DOD re-ups with ICF's Synergy division

ICF Consulting's Synergy division won a $9.4 million contract with the Defense Contract Management Agency to provide software development services, said officials from the Fairfax, Va.-based company.

Under the four-year contract, ICF will support the migration of client-based legacy applications to the agency's Web environment and provide new mission and administrative functions to the DCMA workforce.

DCMA is the Defense Department agency responsible for working with the defense industry to help ensure that systems, supplies and services are delivered on time at projected costs and meet performance requirements.

DCMA manages more than 300,000 prime contracts collectively valued at more than $850 billion.

The new contract is for DCMA's Web-based applications known as eTools, an initiative that Synergy has worked on since 1999.
