Deadline Extended 3rd Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards

The deadline for submitting nominations for the 3rd Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards has been extended one week to June 8. Nominations are still being accepted for government contractor of the year and executive of the year for small, midsize and large companies.

The Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards is the Washington region's premier event honoring innovative and trailblazing companies, industry heavyweights and long-term pillars of the government contracting industry.

The awards and gala dinner, to be held Oct. 19 at the Ritz-Carlton in McLean, Va., are presented by Washington Technology, the Professional Services Council and the Northern Virginia Government Contractors Council.

Last year's winners included Dan Bannister of DynCorp and Rodney Hunt of RS Information Systems Inc.
