SRA win targets missile defense work

SRA International Inc. won a five-year, $86.4 million task order for a range of information technology services for the Missile Defense Agency's enterprise information management system, the company said today.

The General Services Administration awarded the task order under its Millennia contract, a $25 billion, multiple-award program for federal agencies worldwide to purchase IT services.

Since 2002, SRA has provided information architecture and engineering support for the Missile Defense Agency's enterprise information management system that lets it to organize, retrieve, secure and store business and mission data. As part of the Defense Department, the Missile Defense Agency directs the integration of technologies into an acquisition policy for missile defense.

Under the new task order, SRA will continue managing and developing the program and provide systems engineering, strategic and implementation planning, change management, enterprise architecture maintenance and enhancement and IT training services.

SRA's team includes Anteon International Corp., the Ambit Group LLC, EagleForce Associates Inc., Miltec Corp., Phacil Inc. and SNVC LC.

Fairfax, Va.-based SRA provides IT services and solutions to federal government agencies and is No. 31 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list of prime federal contractors. It employs approximately 3,800 workers and had revenue of $615.8 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2004.
