Anteon wins contract with potential $75M value

Anteon International has won a subcontract from Portage Environmental to support the Air Force's Center for Environmental Excellence, Global Engineering, Integration and Technical Assistance 2005 program.

Anteon International Corp. has won a subcontract from Portage Environmental Inc. to support the Air Force's Center for Environmental Excellence, Global Engineering, Integration and Technical Assistance 2005 program.

If all the options are exercised, Fairfax, Va.-based Anteon's subcontract could last six years and be worth as much as $75 million, company officials said. The subcontract is part of a potential $850 million for the program.

Portage Environmental of Idaho Falls, Idaho, has offices nationwide.

Anteon will provide information technology, military range management, strategic planning, international support services, geographic information systems and homeland defense services, officials said.

The company will also support services for the Air Force's Real Property Agency and support environmental restoration, environmental compliance and pollution control.
