Unisys wins Australian managed services work
Unisys Corp. won a three-year, $9.5 million contract with the Australian state of Victoria to provide managed services to the IT infrastructures of two departments.
Unisys Corp. won a three-year, $9.5 million contract with the Australian state of Victoria to provide managed services to the IT infrastructures of two departments, the company announced Wednesday.
Unisys of Blue Bell, Pa., will offer services including service desk; deskside support; installs, moves, adds and changes. The company also will administer Lotus notes and provide network and server management to more than 1,300 users at five central business district locations in Melbourne.
Unisys performed the same services under a previous contract, but the new contract has expanded to cover disaster recovery, process improvement and consulting, the company said.
Unisys provides IT services and solutions, and has more than 36,400 employees and annual sales of $5.8 billion. The company ranked No. 36 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
