Law firm Venable LLP has formed a government services group to provide contractors with broad-based legal assistance.
Law firm Venable LLP has formed a government services group to provide contractors with broad-based legal assistance, the company said yesterday.
The group is comprised of 30 lawyers representing 17 legal disciplines, including finance, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, intellectual property and government affairs.
The co-leaders of the new group are Joe Schmelter, business transactions partner; John J. Pavlick, government contracts partner; and J. Scott Hommer III, government contracts partner.
Based in Washington, Venable provides legal services to government, corporate, institutional, non-profit and individual client throughout the U.S. and around the world.
