Multimax Inc. has won a $6.2 million contract from the Air Force to provide software licenses for the Remedy Action Request System, the company announced today.
The order to Multimax of Largo, Md., fulfills Air Force requirements for additional Remedy ARS software licenses for the ongoing Combat Information Transport System, or CITS.
Remedy ARS, a call-tracking system for customer service inquiries, is the previously selected trouble-ticketing system supporting CITS. CITS is a multiyear, multibillion-dollar Air Force program focused on using commercial products to modernize IT at the base level.
The order was issued to Multimax Dec. 28 under the Air Force Network-Centric Solutions contract, known as Netcents. The company is one of eight prime contractors for the contract.
Multimax provides IT services and solutions to federal, state and local government. The various components of the Defense Department are the company's largest customers.
