ManTech nabs Army logistics support subcontract

ManTech has won a five-year, $13.5 million subcontract contract from Tinton Falls, N.J.-based EPS Inc. to provide support services to the Army's Directorate of Plans, Training and Mobilization at Fort Knox, Ky., the company announced today.

Under the subcontract, ManTech of Fairfax, Va., will provide services such as facilities management, logistics operations and training at Fort Knox. The installation is home to the Army Armor Center, Armor School and Urban Warfare Training Center.

"This contract allows us to expand our work at Fort Knox, particularly in training support," said Eugene Renzi, president of ManTech's Defense Systems Group.

In addition to the training support activities at Fort Knox, ManTech also provides training in information system security for the defense and intelligence communities as well as training for the Navy, Army Space and Missile Defense Command, Air Force Air Combat Command, Defense Logistics Agency and the Defense Information Systems Agency.

The company has more than 5,300 employees and annual sales of $701.6 million. The company ranks No. 22 on Washington Technology 2004 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
