DOD support office awards IT security and services work

Telos Corp. won a three-year contract to offer IT security compliance and risk management services to Washington Headquarters Services, an agency that provides administrative and operational services to the Department of Defense and other federal agencies, company officials said.

The value of the contract was not released.

Telos of Ashburn, Va., will provide its Xacta IA Manager product, which will streamline the certification and accreditation processes for WHS' applications and networks, company officials said.

Telos will also provide information assurance consulting services, supporting defense transformation efforts to streamline systems and improve security.

WHS' staff of 1,300 supports customers including the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the White House, Congress and a variety of defense agencies.
