SI wins logistics work with NIH
SI International Inc. won two task orders collectively worth $7.2 million to provide logistics support to the National Institutes of Health.
SI International Inc. won two task orders collectively worth $7.2 million to provide logistics support to the National Institutes of Health, the company said today.
The first task order is for the agency's engineering services division and is valued at about $5.5 million over a two-year period, including a one-year base period and a one-year option. This task order is for material management outsourcing at multiple NIH loading docks throughout the Washington DC area.
The second task order, SI also will provide logistical support operations and management at NIH warehouses in Maryland. The work is worth about $1.7 million over one year.
Based in Reston, Va., SI International provides IT and network solutions. The company has about 1,900 employees and is No. 66 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
