EDS' FedTraveler makes its way to Justice Dept.
EDS Corp. will provide the Justice Department with electronic travel services under GSA's eTravel Service contract program, company officials have announced.
EDS Corp. will provide the Justice Department with electronic travel services under the General Services Administration's eTravel Service indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract program, company officials have announced.
With options, the order could be worth up to $74 million, company officials said. FedTraveler.com will be implemented at the Justice Department over the next 22 months.
EDS will offer its FedTraveler.com travel service solution to the agency. FedTraveler's management tools handle planning and authorizations, reservations and fulfillment, voucher approval, and travel-card fraud containment, reporting and auditing.
The Justice Department is the fourth government agency to choose the Fed Traveler.com service, company officials said, the others being the Agriculture Department, National Science Foundation and the Federal Trade Commission.
