Air Force Communications taps NCI for EA support
NCI Information Systems Inc. won a $3.1 million task order for technical support for the Air Force Communications Agency's enterprise architecture division.
NCI Information Systems Inc. won a four-year, $3.1 million task order to provide technical support for the Air Force Communications Agency's enterprise architecture division, the company said today.
The task order was awarded through the Veterans Affairs Department's Global Information Technology Support Services contract.
Under the award, NCI will provide IT services for development of the Air Force Communications Agency's ConstellationNet subenterprise architecture. Specifically, the company will provide support for design, development and maintenance of Web-based information management systems as they are switched from client-server to service-oriented architectures.
Based in Reston, Va., NCI provides IT, systems engineering and integration services to the U.S. military and civilian agencies. The privately owned company employs more than 1,400 people and had 2003 revenue of $136.4 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
