Tyler wins subcontract for court software
Tyler Technologies Inc. has won a $2.2 million subcontract from Affiliated Computer Services Inc. to provide an automated court management solution for Oklahoma City.
Tyler Technologies Inc. has won a $2.2 million subcontract from Affiliated Computer Services Inc. to provide an automated court management solution for Oklahoma City, Tyler announced this month.
Under the subcontract, Tyler of Dallas will provide software to support municipal court functions as well as implementation, training and support services for the system, the company said.
The contract is part of a comprehensive integrated public safety system that Dallas-based ACS is providing Oklahoma City. ACS announced it won the deal last month.
Tyler's municipal court system provides case management, courtroom scheduling and assignments, warrant and late notice issuance, bond processing, and accounting, collection, and auditing of fines and fees. The solution also includes an integrated document management system.
Tyler plans to integrate the system with the city's police records management and other systems to provide an integrated computer system. The system will be implementation by third quarter 2005.
Tyler, a provider of information management services and solutions to local government, has 1,200 employees and annual sales of $145.5 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
