Two contractors each won five-year, $49 million contracts to support manufacturing and technology programs at the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.

Under the task order contract, Anteon International Corp. of Fairfax, Va., will provide integrated business, technical and program service to the lab's manufacturing technology division. Universal Technology Corp. of Dayton, Ohio, will provide administrative support for research and development and external analyses and assessments of technical programs.
Anteon is an information technology and systems engineering and integration company whose primary customer is the federal government. It ranks No. 19 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors. The company employs more than 8,200 workers worldwide and had 2003 revenue of $1 billion.
Universal Technology is a private technology company that specializes in engineering assessments, strategic planning and advisory services.
