Seven small technology companies won awards under a $763 million contract from the Army for information technology desktop support and services.

The task order contracts for professional IT services, including hardware and software, went to Addx Corp. of Alexandria, Va.; AlphaInsight Corp. of Falls Church, Va.; Daston Corp. of McLean, Va.; Focused Management Inc. of Springfield, Va.; MicroPact Engineering Inc. of Herndon, Va.; Pragmatics Inc. of McLean; and Resource Consultants Inc. of Vienna, Va. The contracts are for one year with four one-year options.

AlphaInsight won two contracts. One was worth $78 million, and the other $7.4 million. The award amounts to the other companies are: Addx, $20.4 million; Daston, $10.6 million; Focused Management, $19.4 million; MicroPact Engineering, $91 million; Pragmatics, $117.6 million; and Resource Consultants, $202 million.

San Diego defense contractor Titan Corp. won a $217 million award under the contract in February.
