ACS to operate New Hampshire toll service center

Affiliated Computer Services Inc. has won a three-year, $16.6 million contract from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to support the state's E-ZPass electronic toll collection system.

Affiliated Computer Services Inc. has won a three-year, $16.6 million contract from the New Hampshire Department of Transportation to support the state's E-ZPass electronic toll collection system. The contract includes three options for three years each.

ACS of Dallas will operate a customer service center to support the E-ZPass program throughout the state. The company will help the state transition its toll collection system to the E-ZPass system.

ACS will operate the customer service and violations processing center using its proprietary Vector software. Among its tasks, the company will manage accounts and reciprocity among E-ZPass states, financial management, violations processing and system interfaces. The company also will operate three walk-in centers in New Hampshire.

ACS handles more than 50 percent of the nation's electronic toll transactions, processing more than $2.4 billion in toll revenue and supporting more than 10 million customers annually.

ACS provides information technology and business process outsourcing services to government and commercial customers. The company has more than 43,000 employees and annual sales of $4.1 billion.
