NCI wins Army task order

NCI Information Systems Inc. won a five-year $61.1 million task order from the Army's Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation for a range of IT support services, the company said today.

NCI will provide IT support services, including project management, network engineering, information assurance, asset acquisition and management, system maintenance, and software and customer support.

The company's partners on the project are Science Applications International Corp., Cherry Road Technologies Inc., Hewlett-Packard Co., Integic Corp. and Advantage Factory LLC.

Based in Reston, Va., NCI provides systems engineering and integration services. Customers include the Commerce, Defense, Energy, Housing and Urban Development, Justice and State departments, the Government Accountability Office, the General Services Administration and NASA. In 2003, it employed more than 1,400 workers and had revenue of $136.4 million, according to Hoover's Online.
