Halifax wins Army infrastructure support deal
Halifax Corp. has won a five-year, $29 million contract award from the Army to provide infrastructure support services.
Halifax Corp. has won a five-year, $29 million contract award from the Army to provide infrastructure support services, the company announced today.
Under the blanket purchase agreement, Halifax of Alexandria, Va., will provide engineering support, installation and activation services for communications and electronic systems, training support and equipment provisioning.
The contract was awarded through the General Services Administration's Federal Supply Service Schedule for Infrastructure Support Services, the company said.
Halifax provides secure network services for the Army under a contract announced earlier this year. In addition to the Army, Halifax federal customers include the Air Force, Defense Information Systems Agency, IRS and Veterans Affairs Department.
Halifax, a provider of enterprise management solutions to commercial and government customers, has more than 400 employees and annual sales of $49 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
