Dynamic Systems wins Jet Propulsion Lab contract

Dynamic Systems Inc., a Los Angeles-based technology and services provider, won a four-year, $45 million contract from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory to manage its Sun Microsystems UNIX products, Veritas software and Dataram memory, company officials said.

JPL is a federally funded research and development facility managed by the California Institute of Technology for NASA.

Under the renewal contract, Dynamic Systems will provide hardware and software configuration, technical engineering support, asset tracking and a paperless order processing system, equipment testing and custom integration.

Mardi Norman, president of Dynamic Systems, said the paperless environment implemented by the company has made the procurement process more efficient.

Dynamic Systems, an 8(a) small, disadvantaged business, has managed the JPL fixed-price contract for the past seven years, according to the company.
