	The Washington State Department of Transportation may go to automatic vehicle identification technology. In a request for information, the state said it is considering the technology as part of an electronic toll collection system for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. The technology will need to be compatible with the Washington State Ferries point of sale system. Responses to the RFI are due June 4. The RFP is expected in July.
