Stenbit joins SI board
John Stenbit, former assistant secretary of defense for command, control, communications and intelligence, and chief information officer for the Defense Department, has been named to the board of directors at SI International Inc. in Reston, Va.
John Stenbit, former assistant secretary of defense for command, control, communications and intelligence, and chief information officer for the Defense Department, has been named to the board of directors at SI International Inc. in Reston, Va.
During his tenure at the Defense Department, Stenbit created an information system to support intelligence and operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, and also started the Counter-Intelligence Field Activity, which lets the Defense Department share information with other agencies to track down terrorists worldwide.
SI provides information technology primarily to the federal government.
