Anteon to help Army get organized

Anteon International Corp. received a five-year $34.9 million contract to support the Army's reorganization of its combat divisions based on American soil, the company said today.

The Fairfax, Va., systems engineering and integration company will support for the Army's Modularity Coordination Centers at each of its corps and division headquarters in the United States to coordinate and synchronize the reorganization of divisions and combat brigades, the company said.

Anteon will provide expertise in personnel, operations, training, logistics, information management, installation support and public affairs. The project will enable the reorganized troops to increase their combat power, move to war zones more quickly and be sustained more easily while in deployed locations, the company said.

Anteon had $1 billion in 2003 revenue and ranked No. 14 on Washington Technology's 2003 Top 100 list, which measures federal systems integration revenue. The 2004 list is due out in May.
