Tyler wins $4.1M financial software contract

Tyler Technologies Inc. will provide Southfield, Mich., with integrated financial software, officials of the Dallas company said today. The contract for software, services and support is worth more than $4.1 million, according to the company.

Tyler Technologies' Eden Systems unit will provide its InForum Gold software for financial, citizen services and human resources applications.

Tyler will also implement its InForum Gold utility billing software to manage the accounts receivable process for the city's utilities.

The selection of Tyler shows that the company can serve large-scale government agencies, said Gene Jackson, president of the Eden Systems unit.

Southfield is in southeastern Michigan, north of Detroit, and has more than 78,000 residents and 8,600 businesses, including 140 Fortune 500 companies.

Tyler Technologies provides information management solutions and services for local governments. Its clients include more than 6,000 local government offices in all 50 states, Canada, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.
