Homeland Security forum to put agency needs on table

The Homeland Security Department will host a two-day conference in March to tell industry what the agency needs and requires in technology.

The conference will be held March 8 and 9 at the Wardman Park Marriott Hotel in Washington. DHS staff will host detailed briefings on technology research and development and testing and evaluation requirements, as well as how to get DHS funding.

Among the sessions will be briefings on doing business with the Homeland Security Advanced Research Projects Agency, critical infrastructure protection, Project Safecom, border and transportation security, information systems and cybersecurity.
