EDS picks up Feld Group

	Electronic Data Systems Corp. acquired the Feld Group, a Dallas-based IT consultancy, for $41 million in cash and $48 million in restricted stock, warrants and options, EDS said.

Most of Feld's 60 staff members will move to EDS, where they will support EDS' core business operations.

Plano, Texas-based EDS also gets Feld's proprietary IT and business process implementation software. The privately held Feld Group specialized in reorganizing technology organizations, including IT departments of Burlington Northern Santa Fe and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
