Ciber buys services division of FullTilt

Ciber Inc. has acquired the services division of FullTilt Solutions Inc., a provider of software and information technology services.

Ciber Inc. has acquired the services division of FullTilt Solutions Inc., King of Prussia, Pa., a provider of software and information technology services, Ciber announced today. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Buying the division expands Denver-based Ciber's customer base and its delivery capability in Pennsylvania, particularly in the Philadelphia area. Ciber hopes to double its operations in that region, said Ed Longo, Ciber's chief operating officer.

John Morrissey, Ciber's Philadelphia area director, will run the combined Philadelphia operation. FullTilt's Michael Kovach will be the new director of delivery for the Philadelphia operations.

Ciber will add about 100 employees, about 70 in Philadelphia, said David Durham, Ciber's CFO. The new operations bring in about $15 million in annual revenue and are expected to add about 1 cent to Ciber's earnings in 2004, he said.

Ciber, a provider of IT integration and consulting services for the public and private sectors, has about 5,400 employees and annual sales of $608 million.
