Anteon to provide IT support to DoD security agency

Anteon International Corp., Fairfax, Va., won a five-year contract to supply information technology support services to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.

The contract is worth $12.7 million if all options are exercised, the company said.

The DSCA is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing Defense Department security assistance programs for the transfer of defense articles, services and technology to foreign governments and international agencies.

S. Daniel Johnson, Anteon's chief operating officer, said the company has a track record with security assistance programs.

Anteon provides services and support for the Army's security assistance training management program, which is responsible for deploying Army training teams overseas.

With 2002 revenues of $826 million, Anteon ranked No. 14 on Washington Technology's 2003 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
