Anteon lands $15.7 million Army contract

Anteon International Corp. has won a five-year contract to provide environmental support services to the Army at Fort Lewis, Wash., the company announced today.

The value of the contract is estimated at $15.7 million. Under the terms of the contract, the company will provide information technology, environmental analysis and program management professional services for the Fort Lewis Public Works, Environmental and Natural Resources Division.

"Environmental support services is a robust business area for the company, and we expect continued growth," said S. Daniel Johnson, Anteon's executive vice president and chief operating officer.

Anteon, headquartered in Fairfax, Va., reported 2002 revenue of $826 million. The company has about 7,400 employees. The company was No. 14 on the Washington Technology 2003 Top 100 list.
