U.S. Courts tap Titan for IT services

Titan Corp. has won a seven-year, $17 million contract from the administrative office of the U.S. Courts for information technology support services.

Titan Corp. has won a seven-year, $17 million contract from the administrative office of the U.S. Courts for information technology support services, the company announced today.

Under the indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, Titan of San Diego will provide Red Hat Enterprise Linux, related maintenance, technical support and training and certification services.

Titan's subcontractors include Red Hat Inc. of Raleigh, N.C., and Hewlett-Packard Co. of Palo Alto, Calif. Titan's Enterprise Services and Solutions Sector unit will perform the work.

The administrative office of the U.S. Courts offers services to the federal courts in administrative support, program management and policy development.

Titan is a provider of information and communications systems, solutions and services to the Department of Defense, intelligence agencies and other government customers. The company has about 11,000 employees and annual sales of $1.9 billion. The company was ranked No. 15 on Washington Technology's 2003 Top 100 list.
