Impact Innovations gets $42 million deal from NSA

Impact Innovations Group has won a $42 million contract by the National Security Agency to help the agency comply with the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model best practices.

The contract is for two years with three option years. Impact Innovations will support NSA's software and system engineering process improvement planning, implementation, assessments and institutionalization.

"This contract is the latest in a series of recent high profile wins for Impact Innovations across several federal agencies," said Ellen Glover, president of Impact Federal, the company's government services unit.

The company also was a team member on four other deals with the intelligence community over the past week, including a five-year, $7.5 million IT service management contract and a five-year, $5.7 million project for systems engineering and enterprise architecture support.

Late last month the company announced that it secured multi-year contracts with the Office of the Secretary of Defense for Public Affairs, worth $38 million, the National Archives and Records Administration, worth $21 million, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., for $12 million.

Impact Innovations is a privately held company based in Atlanta, Ga. The company also has offices in Dallas, Columbia, Md., and Vienna, Va.
