DOD awards health systems contracts

The Defense Department has tapped 20 companies to support its health systems under the third iteration of an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract.

The Defense Systems Integration, Design, Development, Operations and Maintenance Services III contracts are collectively worth up to $8 billion. The Defense Contracting Command-Washington is managing D/SIDDOMS III.

DOD and Veterans Affairs Department offices can issue task orders for system services, equipment, materials and facilities.
